My name is Mike Fisher and I quit college at age 20 and started an environmental company that became an INC 500 company 3 years in a row. I sold that company in the late 90’s and moved to Montana to “find myself”. That is where I found the auction industry and a couple of years later, I moved back to my hometown of Gadsden, AL and started Redfield Group Auctions in September of 2001.

We specialized in selling high end real estate all over North America and have sold in over 40 states and Mexico. Everything was great until……. the crash of 2008. When the market didn’t come back in 2009 or 2010, we started selling business assets, estates, and most all other personal property. Today we focuson real estate (residential, land and commercial), business closings, large estates and more complex deals that include real estate with equipment or inventory.

Let's face it, auctioneers and agents usually don't work together BUT over the last 5 years or so, I have developed relationships with agents, brokers and broker/owners throughout the southeast who had never thought about using an auction to cure problems. Working together, we have sold multiple multi-million real estate deals that would not have been possible without developing those relationships. I have had agents call from listing appointments because the seller had problems and a traditional approach wouldn't work. We booked the deal within a week and sold the property for nearly $4 million in less than 45 days (and each of us earned a six figure commission). That's when I realized that there are a few deals a year that agents either let the listing expire or pass on it all together because of time constraints, the property, target market or etc. Quit passing on projects or letting listings expire and earn even more commission partnering with us and utilizing our proven system.
